Luma Restaurant & Bar

Can not recommend Luma restaurant enough, the food was exceptional, presentation wise & taste. Everything was delicious, there was vegetarian options available (I had the leek croquette & the pan fried gnocchi). Our waitress Jade was beautiful, she was very outgoing, friendly, happy & helpful, nothing was too much to ask, made us feel very comfortable. The restaurant itself has a very romantic vibe, extremely luxurious and exclusive. Can not recommend Luma enough to friends & family, will definitely be back!

Compliments to the chef and waitstaff on a tremendous night. The food was epic as were the hosts Candice and Marharyta. I’ve become a fan of vegetarian. My cannelloni was amazingly delicious. The sauce was incredible. The dessert was equally amazing. Strawberries and cream was quite tasty. Simple but exquisite. The lighting, the vibe and the atmosphere were just right. Cannot be faulted. Thanking you all so much.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience dining here for Valentine’s Day! The food was exceptional—beautifully presented, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. The service was also outstanding, with attentive and professional staff who made sure everything was just right. It’s worth mentioning that our first experience with the Butler Package didn’t meet expectations, but the management truly went above and beyond to make it right. They invited us back, and this time, everything was flawless. It’s clear they take customer feedback seriously, and I really appreciate the effort they put into ensuring a great experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this restaurant!

An absolute delight that defies any preconceptions one may have about hotel restaurants. Fun interior, exciting menu, brilliant execution, friendly staff. Most recommendable, even when not staying at the lovely hotel upstairs. Surprisingly good breakfast, too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – A fantastic night at Luma We had dinner at Luma last Saturday for our wedding anniversary, and it was genuinely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Sheldon and Bella were outstanding — warm, attentive and just really lovely to deal with. They struck that perfect balance of great service without ever feeling intrusive, and it made the whole night feel effortless. The food was incredible. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully put together, and came out at a perfect pace. You can tell there’s real care behind what they do. All up, it was a fantastic night and exactly the anniversary experience we were hoping for. Huge thanks to the team at Luma — we’ll definitely be back.

Came here for the tasting menu, which was very well prepared. Staff were friendly, and portion sizes were good, just keep in mind it’s a tasting menu, so don’t expect a full plate. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. The only let-down was the 1923 tawny. It was the last pour from the bottle and had likely been open for too long, as the flavour resembled acetone. At $165 for a 20ml pour, I would have expected better handling of the bottle or realistically, it should have been discarded by this point and a fresh one opened.

The food is thoughtful, refined, and genuinely delicious. European-leaning dishes are executed with skill and clarity, showcasing South Australian produce without ever feeling overworked or pretentious. Flavours are balanced, textures deliberate, and every plate feels like it’s been crafted with purpose. Service is polished and welcoming — the kind that elevates the meal without hovering. And the pairings? Spot on. Whether it’s a wine, a cocktail, or a recommendation from the team, everything arrives with a sense of confidence and ease. If this is where Adelaide’s hotel dining is headed, I’m absolutely here for it. My only regret is not discovering Luma sooner — it’s a triumph, and a place I’ll happily return to again and again.

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection, using fresh ingredients. The staff were attentive and always ensured our glasses were filled and that we had what we needed. We would highly recommend it for special occasions or date nights.
